TORD BOONTJE DESIGNS DECEMBER STAMPS FOR POSTNL

Our friend and neighbour, Tord Boontje, has designed a fantastically festive series of December stamps for Dutch national post company PostNL.

'I wanted to show how important it is to be together in December or to think of one another during this time. That's why I featured stories of people and animals on every stamp and ensured that there is interaction between the figures. My aim was to create a festive feeling without the normal Christmas clich├ęs...'

Take a look at a selection of these magical small stories below, and click the link to visit the Studio Tord Boontje website and see them come to life - http://tordboontje.com/projects/identity/december-stamps/ They can also be seen in the studio and gallery window display at 23 Charlotte Road in Shoreditch, so don't forget to visit if you're in the area!
